After a lot of waiting, a plethora of gameplay leaks, and speculation surrounding the release date, we finally have a calendar date for the highly anticipated release of Diablo IV. With The Game Awards only a day away, it was only a matter of time before the announcement was made official, however, the game got an early listing on the Microsoft Store and slipped the release date for the title unintentionally.

Diablo IV Release Date – So it is written

Diablo IV is a game that has been announced for quite some time, and while Blizzard has cleverly avoided revealing the release date for the title time and again, it appears that an accidental listing of the title on the Microsoft Store caught the attention of the legendary leaker, Aggiornamenti Lumia on Twitter.

According to the tweet by the leaker, who is known for finding listings on the Microsoft Store that are yet to be public, and has a flawless track record for doing so, Diablo IV is expected to release on June 5th, 20223, at 11 PM.

It’s also surprising to note that the title is 80GB on the console, but whether this is the Xbox One or the Xbox Series version is not specified.

The release is stated for the Microsoft Store and the Xbox, but this also means that the title will share the same release date with the PC and PlayStation versions of the title too.

From the last update at Blizzcon this year, Blizzard announced a 2023 release date for the title without specifying a month, but it seems that we now know the date ahead of The Game Awards, which is where the title would have been announced officially.

The game will release for the Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and the PC.
