EA had their earnings call earlier today and in the call they also shared a shocking announcement of bringing Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, one of the most highly anticipated titles of the year that exclusively released for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. However, the game is still plagued by issues on all the platforms above, and the news of the title coming to a weaker console has fans worried.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor On Weaker Hardware

It’s no secret that the PS4 and Xbox One are becoming outdated every year and developing modern games for them is proving a significant challenge. However, in a bizarre decision announced earlier today, EA is looking to port Star Wars Jedi: Survivor to the PS4 and Xbox One consoles as the development is in the early stages according to the publisher.

In a tweet by Benji-Sales, they confirm the announcement, and many fans are indeed worried about the quality of the port.

Presently, the title is still having major issues with stability, performance, and more on each platform, and while Respawn is hard at work on releasing patches to improve the quality on the platforms, porting such a demanding game over to weaker consoles is such a weird choice, but we have recently seen that even titles like Hogwarts Legacy was able to pull off a miracle on the PS4.
