  • Currently only slated for Xbox and PC
  • No update on a fixed release date yet

As the final leg of the Activision/Blizzard merger is ongoing new documents have surfaced that confirm two facts about Elder Scrolls VI that we haven’t heard about in a long while. The first is that the title will be released in 2026 at the earliest, but it’s possible for it to go beyond that date too, and second, it could be exclusive to Xbox and PC.

Elder Scrolls VI Is Still A Ways Away

In some new court documents, Elder Scrolls VI was mentioned. While the tentative date for the title is 2026, Phil Spencer also added that there is potential for the title to go TBD.

Elder Scrolls VI was announced back in 2018 and ever since then, there has not been any update from Microsoft or Bethesda. Admittedly, the studios have been focused on Starfield, but with that title out of the way, it is possible for the studio to now put to work on that title.

In addition, Phil Spencer also stated that the title will only be on Xbox consoles and PC, but the word may imply the potential for PlayStation and perhaps the future Nintendo console to join the fray as well.
