We all spent ungodly amounts at home this past year – good job everyone. It sounds negative but we did what we had to do. But in the middle of all the doom and gloom, gamers had a silver lining. For one, we got Fall Guys, the game created the most buzz out of any game this year. If you’re still a fan of the game, you’ll be happy to know that Fall Guys Xbox One, Xbox Series X & S, and Switch ports are coming later this year!

Fall Guys Xbox And Switch Ports Announced

For everyone on team Microsoft, you’ll be happy to know Mediatonic announced the game just today for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

Just a few hours ago, the official Twitter account of the game announced that Fall Guys Xbox Series X|S port will be arriving Summer 2021. So, hooray! An Xbox Wire article by Joe Walsh (the game’s lead designer) was also released, and anything from this guy is definitely worth a read. Whether you are ready to ride the hype train again on a different platform or you will be experiencing it for the first time, this is going to be exciting.

Separately, the game was also announced for the Switch in yesterday’s Nintendo Direct. Among other things revealed in yesterday’s Direct (including Monster Hunter Rise details and Splatoon 3), Nintendo revealed that everyone’s favorite jelly bean combat is coming to the Switch this Summer. So, a Fall Guys Xbox port won’t be the only thing on the developer’s to-do list. Besides, as with every major game release for the Switch, this will be Fall Guys’ first time to go mobile.

This effectively makes the game on every major platform out there. With an initial release for PS4 and PC and today’s announcement, that makes 4. The only thing that’s left is mobile ports, if that’s ever going to happen. As of now, the game does not feature crossplay between PS4 and Windows. So, it is safe to assume that will be the case with these new ports. But hey, a new spike in players will revive that hype the game lived for a few short months.
