Final Fantasy 7 Remake was released in the worst part of 2020, when COVID was at its height in a lot of parts of the world – this was a true challenge considering all the logistical challenges the games had to overcome. Even when early copies of the game got leaked. However, it seems that there could be a pleasant surprise for fans waiting for them in Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 Has a surprise for fans
It seems that Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 could have a surprise for fans. According to an interview with the games producer, they let out a curious hint that a character that may be dead in the game could actually be alive.
If you have to finish Final Fantasy 7 Remake (which is currently free on PS+ which makes it an excellent opportunity to play the game), then don’t watch the tweet below. It has story spoilers, for a certain portion of the game.
It goes without saying but fans are now hypothesizing that Jesse could be alive after all. Despite her unfortunate end in the game and with a stellar introduction too, fans are also glad to hear that the savvy and spunky youth will live to see the future games.
While Square Enix has yet to talk about the release date or the intended window for Part 2’s release date, we can safely assume that amid COVID, we are a good few years off from the intended release date.
While nothing is set in stone, the odd chuckle from the interview could be the subtle hint that fans need to hang on to when it comes to coming to terms with the death of Jesse.
For now, we will have to wait for a good couple of years at most before we see the release of Part 2, and that is us being optimistic. Hopefully the situation improves in the months that follow.
What are your thoughts on the surprise that lies in wait for fans with Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2? Hopefully, it will be a next-generation exclusive title and will be longer than the original game.
