After months of waiting, the remake of the classic Final Fantasy title, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade has been finally confirmed for PC. This is the ultimate Final Fantasy 7 experience, and it’s absolutely amazing that PC players finally get to experience it. The release date for the remake was announced only hours ago at The Game Awards 2021. For now, it is coming exclusively to the Epic Games Store, in only a few days. With the Store page, the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade System Requirements have been revealed as well.

The remake is coming out in a few days, on 16th December 2021. Fans interested in the game can add the game to their wishlist. It isn’t available for pre-purchase however, and given the release schedule, the pricing will likely show up when it’s out.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake System Requirements

To play the game on PC, you need the following specifications

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Minimum Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64bit (ver. 2004 or later)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 3330 / AMD FX-8350
  • Memory: 8 GB
  • Storage: 100 GB or more
  • Direct X: Version 12 or later
  • Graphics: GeForce GTX 780 / Radeon RX 480 (3GB VRAM)
  • Resolution: 1920×1080
  • OS: Windows 10 64bit (ver. 2004 or later)
  • Processor: IntelCore i7-3770 / AMD Ryzen 3 3100
  • Memory: 12GB
  • Storage: 100GB or more
  • Direct X: Version 12 or later
  • Graphics: GeForce GTX 1080 / Radeon RX 5700 (8GB VRAM)
  • Resolution: 2560×1440

This is a fairly beefy game, but it isn’t as demanding as we thought it would be. While it does require tons of storage space, everything else isn’t exactly too high. Players interested will need a GeForce GTX 1080 or Radeon RX 5700 if they wish to target 1440p. This is paired with a fairly old CPU, which is an i7-3770, or the more recent AMD Ryzen 3 3100.

We’re unsure what framerate this is targeting, but it’s possible that this is for 60 FPS. The game does require more than 100 GB of storage space, which makes a lot of sense. Windows 10 is the only Operating System mentioned, for now, so we will have to see if older Windows versions will run this title.

Here is some of the additional content coming to the PC version of the game.

  • 4K and HDR support
  • Improved framerates (up to 120 FPS in the PC version)
  • Photo mode
  • Includes ALL DLC
  • Additional DLC includes the following
    • The FF7R EPISODE INTERmission-exclusive weapon, Cacstar
    • Armor: Midgar Bangle, Shinra Bangle and Corneo Armlet
    • Accessories: Superstar Belt, Mako Crystal and Seraphic Earrings
    • Summon materia: Carbuncle, Chocobo Chick and Cactuar
