Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is now available on PC, and I had a fantastic time with DON’T NOD’s latest adventure. The PC version runs quite well for the most part, and there are plenty of settings to adjust, but the ultrawide support is lacking. Thankfully, you can fix these issues in Banishers Ghosts of New Eden using a patch.

Fixing the Banishers Ghosts of New Eden Ultrawide Issues

Banishers Ghosts of New Eden has ultrawide support but it’s limited to gameplay and can cause FOV issues at certain resolutions. Thankfully, Rose from the widescreen community have already released a patch that addresses these concerns.

  • Head over to the following GitHub link
  • Scroll down a bit, and download the latest zip of the patch (31.7 MB) under Assets by clicking. As of writing, it is version 1.0

  • This will download the zip file, which you need to extract using a compression tool like Winrar or 7zip
  • Extract the file in the following location inside the game’s main folder

That’s all you need to do, and the game will launch in proper ultrawide resolution. Here is a screenshot provided by Rose of Banishers Ghosts of New Eden running with the patch installed.
