Roaming around the beautiful map of Forza Horizon 5 is certainly fun and therapeutic in its own way. But sometimes players might want to save time and quickly get from one corner of the map to another. That’s where fast travel comes in. If you’ve been wondering how to use fast travel in Forza Horizon 5, this guide will be perfect for you.
We will teach you the quickest way to unlock fast travel in FH5 and how the mechanic works exactly. There is a way to use Fast Travel for free & we’ll be teaching you how to do that as well.
How to Unlock Fast Travel
First, we need to unlock fast travel in Forza Horizon 5. To do that, you must progress through the campaign and complete Adventures.
Once you unlock the Street Scene Outpost, then you need to complete the Guanajuato Expedition. Doing so will allow you to buy the Buenas Vistas House in Forza Horizon 5. The house is located in the lower-left corner of the map and costs 2,000,000 CR.
Once you have purchased the house, the game will allow you to fast travel anywhere on the map by selecting the event or road and pressing the X button. It will initially cost you 10,000 CR to use fast travel.
How to Fast Travel for Free in Forza Horizon 5
Now that the basic facility has been unlocked for you, we can start working on making it free of cost. So basically, every time you fast-travel, it will cost you 10,000 CR.
But this cost can be reduced as you find and smash all 50 fast travel boards scattered around the FH5 map. The location of each board is revealed as you get closer to it. Each board you smash reduces 200 CR from the cost of fast traveling.
You can reveal the location of all fast travel boards by purchasing a Treasure Map for 2$ from the in-game store or rely on our screenshot & this interactive map website to look for them yourself.
Some of these boards are out there in plain sight, while others might require you to do some parkour.
Wreck all 50 boards; you can instantly travel anywhere in Forza Horizon 5 for free. This will allow you to save up a lot of money for all those rare cars you’ll be buying in FH5 later on.
