Genshin Impact is a free-to-play game that took the gaming world by storm when it released in 2020. The game has a colorful and vibrant art style, paired with some great RPG mechanics that have made it a popular favorite for gamers across the world. However, it seems that Genshin Impact for Nintendo Switch could see a delay on the main console and instead release on the rumored Nintendo Switch Pro.

Genshin Impact for Nintendo Switch Could Be Coming To Nintendo Switch Pro

Genshin Impact for Nintendo Switch is one of the last few places the game isn’t available on.

As of the time of writing this, Genshin Impact is available on the PS4, PS4, Xbox One X/S, Xbox Series X/S, Android, iOS, Mac, and Windows.

While a Nintendo Switch version is evident and should have been along the way much sooner, the game has yet to release or have further details released about the game.

According to Genshin Report, a good source for information for everything related to the game, they have reason to believe that the game could skip a release on the current SKU of the Nintendo Switch.

They instead state that it is highly probable for the game to see release on the Nintendo Switch Pro.

While we have heard Nintendo Switch Pro rumors almost as much as we have heard rumors about Bloodborne coming to the PC, the likelihood of one happening is more realistic in the short-term.

With E3 set to take place next month, it could be the opportune moment for Nintendo to announce the new variant to the console.

It is no secret that the Nintendo Switch’s aged hardware is having a hard time with third-party titles. This was evident with Ghostrunner and Apex Legends.

A Nintendo Switch Pro is exactly what the doctor ordered with a game like this, which has a lot of explosions, particle effects and more to deliver a good experience to players.

All of this needs a stable framerate to make the experience on-par for Nintendo Switch owners, which could be what is holding back the current version of the game on the present hardware.
