Ghostrunner 2 is now coming to PC and current-generation consoles, and we finally have the release date. The PC version is coming to both Steam and the Epic Games Store, and we now have some more technical details of the upcoming cyberpunk release. Here are the official Ghostrunner 2 system requirements.
Ghostrunner 2 System Requirements
|OS||Windows 10 – 64-Bit||Windows 11 – 64-Bit|
|Processor||Intel Core i5-4590 (4 * 3300) or AMD FX-8350 (4 * 4000) or equivalent||Intel Core i9-9900k (8 * 3600) or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X (6 * 3700 ) or equivalent|
|Memory||8 GB RAM||16 GB RAM|
|GPU||GeForce GTX 960 (4096 MB) or Radeon RX 480 (8192 MB)||GeForce RTX 2070 Super (8192 MB) or Radeon RX 6800 XT (16384 MB)|
|DirectX||Version 11||Version 12|
|Storage||65 GB available space||65 GB available space|
There is a note on the Steam page that these requirements are subject to change, and I’ll update the article accordingly. For now, though, the developers haven’t shared any target resolution or framerate, which we will likely see near launch. If you’re aiming to play the game at higher settings, you’ll need something like an RTX 2070 with 8 GB of VRAM, paired with a Ryzen 5 5600X.
These aren’t too bad, and we’re wondering how high the ray-tracing preset will be in comparison. The first title featured upscaling techniques like DLSS, and FSR, which we hope are present in Ghostrunner 2 as well.
If you’re okay with turning down a few settings though, even the trusty GTX 960 with just 4 GB of VRAM can provide a playable experience, paired with a pretty old i5-4590. You need a total of 65 of free space to install Ghostrunner 2 and 16 GB of RAM is recommended.
