GTA Trilogy Remastered Collection is a re-release of some of Rockstar’s most iconic titles for the PS2. The remastered collection has GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas, available for a variety of platforms, including PlayStation. The launch wasn’t smooth, and there were tons of technical issues in the re-releases, and the collection is one of the lowest-rated titles in Metacritic’s history. Rockstar took notice of that and has been working to improve the quality of these releases. At launch, GTA San Andreas came out on Xbox Game Pass as well, while GTA 3 came out on PS Now. Now, it seems that GTA Vice City Remastered is headed to PS Now as well.

GTA Vice City Remastered head to PS Now

Just like many other upcoming releases, it’s usually the stores themselves that leak the information. GTA Vice City Remastered has been spotted on the PSN Store by a few users, and there’s more than just a listing. Check out a screenshot shared by Billy Allen.

The ad also mentions that the game will remain on the service till 2nd May 2022. That is usually how long most titles remain on PS Now anyway. Rockstar hasn’t made an announcement yet. However, given how it’s showing up on the store, with details, the announcement won’t be far away.

The studio behind the studio had their work cut out for them and after the extreme disappointment from fans, this might be part of the way to make up for it.

Previously, to compensate for this failed launch, Rockstar offered the standard versions of the remastered titles to everyone that had purchased this release. They were also given a free game, that they could choose from a list.

There have been a few patches since launch that improve the quality of the title. Hopefully, after a few more, these titles will be in a shape that fans would appreciate.

There is also a chance that Rockstar might make this announcement at the rumored State of Play that is happening in February.
