Hades is one of the best games of 2020 and won tons of GOTY awards from multiple publications. It is Supergiant Games’ best title yet and incorporates some of the best moment-to-moment combat, with exceptional writing and characters. Now, after such a long wait for a console release, it seems we are getting closer to an announcement. Hades for PS4 has now been finally rated by the Korean Gaming Board.
At the moment, Hades is only available on PC, and the Nintendo Switch. It was initially released on the Epic Games Store as an early access title, for a year. It eventually came out on Steam a year later. After some time, it eventually made its way to the Nintendo Switch, and it was only a matter of time before a console release was spotted.
Hades for PS4 rated on Korean Board
If you head over to the following official link for the Korean board, you can view an official rating for Hades. Here is a screenshot below in case the rating gets removed for some reason.
The rating doesn’t say much else, but it’s clear that this is indeed the rating for Hades. It mentions fantasy violence, which is the major gameplay element of the rogue-lite title.
Historically speaking, Korean ratings like this are a sure indicator that the game is definitely coming to the platform it has been rated for. There have been some rare instances when a rating like this didn’t result in an announcement. However, for the most part, this confirms the PS4 version.
When the game will be announced for PS4 is another story, but given how we are fast approaching various gaming events, it should be soon. E3 is right around the corner too, but if Hades is coming to PS4 first, for whatever reason, then we will most likely see this on a Sony event. It is also possible that a State of Play might include this announcement, so keep an eye on those.
Speaking of PS4 games, the curator page for PlayStation Studios is up on Steam and includes some interesting hidden items.
