Horizon Forbidden West Gameplay Will Be Shown on May 27th

Horizon Forbidden West Gameplay has just been confirmed by Sony to be shown on May 27th, during a State of Play presentation. According to the official blog post, the presentation can last 20 minutes, of which 14 minutes are allocated to showing gameplay captured directly on the PS5.

Horizon Forbidden West Gameplay – After Aloy of waiting

Horizon Forbidden West is the sequel to the 2017 original new IP from Guerilla games. Prior to Horizon, the studio was known best for their Killzone series.

Ever since its announcement, fans have been waiting eagerly for new details on the game and with the release of the PS5, have gotten even more excited at the prospect of playing the game in a whole new generation.

The game has been confirmed to be cross-gen, like Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Sackboy: A Big Adventure. It will have a simultaneous release on the PS4 and PS5.

According to Sony’s latest blog post, there will be a State of Play that will take place on May 27th, 9AM PDT / 5PM BST / 6PM CEST.

The purpose of the presentation will be to show 14 minutes of brand new gameplay footage, which will be a first time viewing for many fans and the other 6 minutes will also talk about Horizon Forbidden Wests other aspects.

Mark May 27th as a red letter day, and as usual, you can watch the presentation on Sony’s official YouTube and Twitch channel.
