Valorant isn’t a demanding game to run. It can smoothly run on most gaming laptops with ease. This is mostly because of its low graphics requirements. However, the overall Valorant installation size can still be relatively big because of all the different textures and effects available in the game.
Here’s how big is Valorant in GB in 2023.
Valorant File Size
During the first launch, Valorant started with a total install size of around 8 GB. However, this number quickly grew as Riot Games started adding in more maps, new agents, and other content to the game.
It’s only going to get bigger from here as more and more updates get introduced into the game. So it’s only natural to question how many GB is Valorant taking on your device, especially if you’re running low on storage.
The total Valorant size is currently 34.7 GB as of the time of writing. If you include the additional 100 MB or so for Riot Vanguard, then the overall Valorant size comes to about 34.8 GB.
While 34.8 GB may seem like a lot for a game, other shooter games such as CS:GO, Fortnite, and Apex Legends are well over 30 GB. Other modern titles such as The Last of Us, Call of Duty, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor all have file sizes of 100 GB or over.
How to Determine Valorant File Size
Unfortunately, you can’t rely on checking your list of installed programs to give you a reliable Valorant file size. The number has always been off, ever since the game’s initial release. However, you can follow the following steps if you ever want to check how many GB Valorant is taking on your PC:
- Go to the Valorant launcher found on your Desktop, right-click on it, and select Open file location.
- Click on the Riot Games folder found in the Windows Directory path.
- Right-click on the VALORANT folder and select Properties. From here, you should be able to see the total Valorant size.
