Playing ranked is quite fun yet extremely stressful at the same time. This is mostly because a lot of random players are easily tilted and you won’t have the same coordination with them. So, we will show you how duo queue boosting works so that you can get your desired rank.

Duo queue boosting works when you are playing Ranked Solo/Duo with another person to have better coordination and climb the ranks easily.

League of Legends: How Does Duo Queue Boosting Work?

To do duo queue boosting, you need to play with a friend (or a random person) who knows the game quite well. Before we talk about that, let’s mention all the ranks real quick. League of Legends currently has the following ranks:

  • Iron
  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum
  • Emerald
  • Diamond
  • Masters
  • Grandmasters
  • Challenger

In the early ranks, you can duo queue with a player who is maximum one league above you. For example, if you are Silver, you can duo queue with players that are in Gold, Silver, or Bronze. However, you cannot duo queue with Plat or Iron players.

You need to gain League Points (LP) by winning ranked games. Depending on your MMR, you gain a lot of LP or less. Each league has 4 divisions. In season 13, there are no promotions so you can get into the next division after getting more than 100 LP.

Pros of Duo Queue

Usually, duo queue is done by “hiring” someone to be your booster. Many high elo players offer this service as they have good mechanics and knowledge of the game. So, you can hire them and boost your rank.

Since you are duo queuing with another player, you’ll have better communication with them. Plus, you can play certain comps like Taric and Master Yi, or Kayle and Yi to win more games.

This will allow you to have better gameplay and climb faster since you will win more games. Plus, it makes the game better and less tilting as there is one less random player on your team.

Can I Get Banned?

Since Riot Games does not ban or punish playing with your friends, you can play with a booster without any issues. This doesn’t technically break any rules of League of Legends so you’re safe.

However, I strongly suggest that you do not give anyone else access to your account as that is against the terms of service and it can get you banned if caught.

Conclusion

And there you have it; that’s how duo queue boosting works in League of Legends. You can climb ranks quickly if you are playing with your friend or a person who has good knowledge of the game.
