Getting Legend Tokens can turn out to be quite an ordeal if you aren’t sure of what you need to do; this begs the question – how do you get Legend tokens in Apex Legends? Well, we’re here to answer that for you!

Leveling up is the only way to get Legend Tokens in Apex Legends. Any other method is either a scam or illegal and breaches Apex’s terms of service. That is why if you want to earn Legend Tokens in the fastest way possible – you’re going to have to streamline your leveling process!

What Determines A Level Up?

In short, the amount of experience you earn in a given match goes directly to your account eventually leveling up. In other words, you ideally want to earn as much XP as possible.

To accomplish that goal, there are two methods that you can use. The Battle Royale method, or the Mixtape method.

The Battle Royale Method

How to get Legend Tokens in Apex Battle Royale

The first method, and arguably the more popular method is the Battle Royale method. Players usually prefer this method because it’s the way the game was intended to be played, as such, you have all the mechanisms of the game at your disposal.

For the Battle Royale method, you effectively have three options to choose from: Trios, Duos, and Ranked League.

The Trios Option – The Best Option to get Legend Tokens in Apex

If you were curious about how to get Legend Tokens in Apex Legends in the most efficient way, then this is it. Trios game mode is the most efficient way to earn XP in Apex Legends, however, it isn’t the fastest way.

It’s important to make a distinction between those two. The fastest way to do something doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s the best way to do said thing. However, the efficient way of doing something is usually the best way of doing something.

Ultimately, surviving for longer will get you more XP than dying in the opening moments of the match. Choose one of the best landing spots for the map you’re currently playing, plan your rotation smartly, and you’ll often be one of the last remaining squads in the match.

The Duos Option – More Risk, Fewer Rewards

Of all the Battle Royale modes, the Duos mode is probably the worst way to get Legend Tokens in Apex. For starters, there’s much more risk involved when playing Duos, as you’ll only have one teammate to rely on, as opposed to two teammates in Trios.

Another factor that makes Duos a less efficient method is the fact that you have one less teammate to watch over. This sounds a bit sociopathic, but hear me out. Reviving and respawning teammates is one of the best ways to farm XP. So, according to that logic, the more teammates you can revive and respawn, the more XP you’ll get.

This is why Trios is the preferable mode. Oftentimes, in Trios, if a teammate gets downed, the other teammate can cover you while you revive your downed friend.

However, if your teammate gets downed in Duos, and you go to revive him before making sure the coast is clear – you’re most likely going to get killed shortly after. Thus, cutting your match short.

The Ranked Option – Don’t!

Don’t even try playing Ranked if your goal is to earn Legen Tokens. In Ranked, you’ll be coming up against some of the best Apex Legends players in the world. This means that there’s no room for tomfoolery.

If, however, you’re reluctant and still want to use the Ranked option, then you have to play smart. The smartest thing you can do to increase your survivability in Ranked is to have one or two Support Legends in your team composition.

Having Support Legends in your team composition will directly help you survive for longer. Though, even that isn’t enough sometimes. Not even the best support in the world can help you against a determined and coordinated foe.

The Mixtape Method

The Mixtape Method

The Mixtape method is the less popular method, but, on the flip side, it’s the faster method if you want to get Legend Tokens quickly.

At its core, the philosophy behind the Mixtape method is the following. The shorter a match lasts, the more matches you can play. Hence, the more opportunities you’ll have to earn XP.

The Control Method – Objective Oriented

If you’re familiar with arena FPSs, then you’re familiar with Capture the Flag. Control is Apex’s version of Capture the Flag. Traditionally, these types of game modes are more objective-oriented than other game modes.

This entails that, if you want to win, you’ll have to play with the objective in mind; rather than just recklessly running and gunning. However, if running and gunning is your thing, then you should try.

The Team Deathmatch Method – Fast and Fun

Team Deathmatch is pretty self-explanatory. Two teams go up against each other, the first team to achieve 50 kills wins. Can’t get simpler than that. This game mode is particularly good if you’re an experienced player who’s confident in their abilities.

This method is the fastest way to get Legend Tokens in Apex Legends. Is it efficient? Absolutely not. Is it fun however? It’s probably the most fun you could have.

The Gun Run Method

Gun Run game mode has your squad starting off with a single weapon. Each time you score a kill on an enemy, you get another weapon. The point of this game mode is to be the first team to score a kill with the final weapon – the Throwing Knives.

This method is an alternative if you get tired of playing Team Deathmatch, as it’s a bit less predictable than Team Deathmatch. That, however, can end up making it more entertaining in the long run.
