The Quarry is the latest title from Supermassive Games and published by 2K Games. The game introduces a brand new story, setting, and cast of characters, and more importantly – is not connected to any of the developer’s previous games. As such, it is one of the more surprising titles that popped on everyone’s radar, despite only getting announced earlier this year. We will help you get The Quarry The Final Girl Trophy for your playthrough with this guide.
How To Get The Final Girl Trophy In The Quarry
If you are here, you are probably hunting for the trophy The Final Girl – Kaitlyn Survived The Night Alone. Unfortunately, this does mean everyone else has to die in your playthrough, except for Kaitlyn. This is presumably an homage to the ending of most other 80’s horror slasher movies, where the movie would end with only a surviving male or female lead.
The flip side of this trophy is Last Man Standing – Ryan survived alone, which we have covered in a separate guide.
With all of that out of the way, this trophy will have similar prerequisites that our other guides have.
Preferably one playthrough of the game, a new playthrough of the game, and a dedicated save file for this particular run.
You must do the following actions in the proceeding chapters to accomplish this:
Chapter 1 – In the scene where Abi and Emma are in the cabins and talking, You must choose the Break In option and find the teddy on the left side of the cabin. When prompted to, Keep the teddy.
Chapter 5 – After Kaitlyn survives the encounter with the hunter, you will cut to Nick and Abi, in the sequence that follows, you must choose Confident -> Intrigued -> Hide. Pass the holding breath minigame, and make sure Abi leaves her bag in the kitchen.
Between Chapters 5 and 10, kill everyone else in the game, except for Kaitlyn. You can follow our Kill Everyone guide for this.
Chapter 10 – When you have control of Kaitlyn, you have to choose Run -> Beam -> repeatedly tap the button shown on screen, after you do that, you have to choose Run and Hide.
This will make you enter the kitchen and confront Caleb. You have to reach for the teddy in Abi’s bag and throw it in the freezer.
This trophy is very similar to our guide on Everyone Dies, but Kaitlyn is the sole survivor. This will be longer than your Everyone Dies playthrough, but much shorter than your everyone lives playthrough. As such, We highly recommend following the guide and avoid using the chapter select to make sure the trophy unlocks.
