Elden Ring: How to Get to the Divine Tower of Liurnia

Each major region of Elden Ring has its own Divine Tower that you can reach after completing certain puzzles. Unlike the Divine Tower of Limgrave, you cannot restore a Great Rune in Liurnia’s tower but instead get other useful items.

Getting to this tower isn’t as simple as walking up to it. So, we will show you how you can easily get to the Divine Tower of Liurnia without any issues.

Complete the Carian Study Hall Puzzle

Location of the Carian Study Hall.

The Carian Study Hall is an optional area that is required to get a secret ending and a few other things. There are many useful items that you can find here, alongside some tough enemies and an elaborate puzzle. To get to the study hall, you must progress through Stromveil and enter Liurnia.

It is found east of the Academy of Raya Lucaria, as you can see in the image above. You can spot this area by opening the map and seeing the large building and bridge in Liurnia. You can also activate the Site of Grace inside the entrance of the hall to make traveling easier.

You’ll have to complete the puzzle of this hall to progress further and reach the Divine Tower. To complete it, you must get the Carian Inverted Statue; you must progress through Ranni’s questline, and give her the Fingerslayer Blade found in Nokron. After getting the statue, head back to the hall and place it on the pedestal in front.

Now, progress through the hall to find the Divine Tower of Liurnia while either fighting or avoiding the enemies. You will have to watch out for Preceptor Miriam. She can be quite annoying since she teleports around and fires magic arrows at you.

The best method to defeat her is to use ranged attacks like arrows or spells. However, if you are a melee user like me, you’ll want to rush toward her and damage her as much as you can. After a while, she will teleport again. So, follow her and damage her more. Continue this until you defeat her.

Apart from the enemies, the hall itself is quite straightforward. The main path can easily be followed by going forward and doing a bit of parkour. Be careful not to fall off because you will encounter a few enemies in some tricky locations.

Get to the Divine Tower

The bridge leading to the Divine Tower.

Once you have explored the hall and want to move on, continue progressing through it until you reach a massive door. Open it to see a large bridge with no enemies on it. While the ‘no enemies’ part is true, you will encounter a Godskin Noble near the end of the bridge.

This boss can be quite strong if you are not familiar with his moveset. While the overall fight is not that difficult, you will have to watch out for his roll attack. When he starts rolling, make sure that you run and dodge it, or your HP will shred instantly.

Defeat this strong foe and open the large door at the end. Now, you can use the lift to go up and activate the Site of Grace to easily fast travel here. Go to the top of the tower, and you will notice an item near a corpse.

Getting the Cursemark of Death.

Pick it up to get the Cursemark of Death and the Stargazer Heirloom Talisman. The Talisman allows you to gain Intelligence, while the Cursemark is a key item required for a secret ending. If you want to find all the endings of Elden Ring, you’ll want to solve the puzzle of the Carian Study Hall and reach the Divine Tower of Limgrave.

The Cursemark of Death is needed to progress through Fia’s questline. After collecting this item, return to Fia at the Roundtable Hold and interact with her. Here you’ll need to embrace her to be able to “talk in secret.” Now, you can progress her elaborate quest to get the Age of Duskborn ending.

Conclusion

That’s everything you need to know about how to get to the Divine Tower of Liurnia in Elden Ring. If you want to get a secret ending in Elden Ring, you will have to get to this Divine Tower and collect the Cursemark of Death.
