Atelier Marie Remake is finally available on PC, and it’s a wonderful way to experience the classic with improved visuals, modern controls, and a host of new features. Like recent entries in the series, this remake runs quite well on a variety of platforms, but given its low requirements, it can do more. Here is how you can improve the Atelier Marie Remake FPS using a patch.

Improve Atelier Marie Remake FPS

By default, Atelier Marie Remake, and other D3D11-based Atelier games don’t fully utilize your GPU, which can result in lower FPS even if you have decent hardware. This has been documented by doitsujin on GitHub, and you can read about the issue in detail here. They have released a fix that addresses this and dramatically improves performance.

  • This same fix has been compiled by Reddit user loliii123 for Windows and uploaded on PCGamingWiki by kendotlibero

To install the patch, follow the steps below.

  • Make sure the game isn’t running
  • Download the patch from the following link
  • Extract the file using a compression tool like Winrar or 7zip
  • Now, place the d3d11.dll file in the game’s directory
  • Launch Atelier Marie Remake again

This is all you need to do, and you should see an improvement in performance right away with better GPU utilization. Atelier Marie Remake isn’t a very demanding title to begin with which is why most PCs should run it well.

Now, keep in mind, with this fix, both CPU and memory utilization will increase as well, but given how this remake isn’t exactly as taxing as Atelier Ryza 3, it shouldn’t be a big problem.

We hope this guide helped you improve the Atelier Marie Remake FPS on PC. Let us know if you have any questions in the comments below.
