I’m going to go over how to level up fast during Season of the Seraph in Destiny 2. It’s not as difficult to hit the seasonal level caps as some people might think – you just need to know what you’re doing. I’m going to make sure you know what you’re doing by walking you through the most efficient strategies players use to level up fast in Season of the Seraph.

I’ll be going over how to level up your Experience Point-related stats fast first. This includes your season pass and Artifact. After that, I’ll go over the best ways to level up your Power Level fast. With a bit of effort, you’ll be maxed out in no time.

Experience Points

I cannot stress enough just how many Experience Points your Seasonal Challenges give you. It’s the single best way to level up fast in Destiny 2, including during Season of the Seraph. You get five of them per week, with different XP rewards on different tiers of challenges. At the start of the season, you’ll only really have tier-one challenges. After a few weeks have progressed, you’ll have access to the tier-three stuff.

You should be doing all of these Challenges weekly if you’re looking to level up fast. Even the tier ones reward a ton of experience, especially if you’re at the start of the season. That’ll help boost your season pass rank up, too – giving you earlier access to all of those important XP boosts.

If Seasonal Challenges aren’t enough for you, then the next best thing is bounty farming. Ideally, you should use the Companion app if you plan on doing this. This will let you accept bounties from Vendors while you’re in orbit – rather than returning to the Tower every time.

This is a slower, grinder, and overall more miserable than just completing your Seasonal Challenges – but it is what all the hardcore players do. Just remember to only turn this stuff in while you’re in a Fireteam so you get that extra XP boost.

Power Level

You’ll generally rack up enough experience points to keep you going throughout your regular gameplay. Your Power Level, on the other hand, is much more strategic and intentional.

In Season of the Seraph, the Powerful cap is 1580, while the Pinnacle cap is 1590. Reaching the Powerful cap isn’t difficult – most of you were probably already at that level from last season. So, I’m only going to talk about you can level up your Power Level to the Pinnacle cap in Destiny 2.

First off, you have to know what activities reward Pinnacles. There are a lot of activities that drop Pinnacles – more than you might think. In general, these are the ones to prioritize:

  • King’s Fall – Gives four +2 Pinnacles.
  • Master Ketchcrash – gives one +2.
  • Master Duality – Gives one +2.
  • Weekly Witch Queen Campaign Mission – Gives one +2.
  • Weekly Raid – Gives one +2.
  • Weekly Dungeon – Gives one +2.
  • Core Playlist – Gives three +1 Pinnacles.

Beyond that, you’ve also go the likes of Preservation, The Wellspring, Vox Obscura, and all the Pinnacles that come with Trials of Osiris.

Making sure you’re doing all of these weekly will speed up your Pinnacle grind, but there are two distinct tips that will help you maximize your time even more:

Maximize your grind with Powerful drops and More Characters.

Just because you’re past the Powerful cap doesn’t mean you should stop doing Powerfuls altogether. Your Powerful drops drop at your base Power Level. If you have a specific piece of gear that’s below that level, run Powerfuls until you get a drop for that slot. This will stop you from wasting Pinnacles needlessly.

Beyond that, running your Pinnacles on three different characters will dramatically decrease the time it takes you to hit the Pinnacle cap. While you can’t infuse armor between classes, you can transfer your weapons across.

You max out your Pinnacles on one character, take your highest Power Level weapons and transfer them to your second character, then do that one’s Pinnacles. Repeat this process for your final character, and that one should end up a fair bit higher than the first thanks to the Power Level bump those weapons will give you.

That’s how to level up fast in Destiny 2’s Season of the Seraph. Follow these tips, and you’ll be max level in no time.
