Age of Wonders 4

Age of Wonders 4 is the fastest-selling entry in the strategy series from Paradox Interactive and Triumph Studios. The title had a few technical issues at launch, but a steady stream of patches is improving the state of the game. If you want to get into the game faster though, and save a few seconds, here is how you can skip the Age of Wonders 4 intro video on PC.

Skip the Age of Wonders 4 Intro Video

If you want to skip the Age of Wonders 4 intro video, you need to rename the IntroVideo.webm in the Frontend to something else.

Here are the detailed steps to achieve this.

  • Click on Library on Steam
  • Right-click on Age of Wonders 4
  • Click Manage and select Browse local files
Right-click on Age of Wonders 4 > Manage > Browse local files
Manage > Browse local files
  • Here, navigate to the following folders
\Age of Wonders 4\Content\Title\Videos\Frontend
  • Here, rename the IntroVideo.webm to something else

That is all you need to do and the next time you launch the title, you won’t have to press and hold the Escape key. A little funny detail about this is during the new intro there will be a short black screen with a note from the developers “You shouldn’t be able to see this 😀“.

If you’re also looking for a way to skip the Paradox Launcher as well, you can easily do so by following this guide.

We hope this guide helped skip the Age of Wonders intro. Let us know if you have any questions in the comments below.
