The village section in Resident Evil 4 is one of the most iconic areas and a great level. It tests your skill to run and gun various enemies while the tension builds up. However, if you are on your second playthrough or want to do a speedrun, this guide will show you how to skip the village in Resident Evil 4 Remake.

Before we begin, make sure that you do not use this strategy on your first playthrough since that will ruin the experience. With that said, let’s dive right in and get started.

Resident Evil 4 Remake: How to Skip The Village Part

Early in the game, Leon comes across a small village where there are tons of enemies. Here, you will see a cop getting burned alive at an altar. After that, you have the option to either sneak around while killing a few villagers or go guns blazing.

Regardless of the method you choose, you will have to fight an infinite amount of enemies eventually. That requires a lot of ammo, precision, and evasion. Make sure that you continuously move around to avoid getting surrounded.

However, if you are planning to do a speed run or want to progress quickly in your next playthrough, make sure that you climb the roof shown in the image above. To get to this roof, enter the building where you can find the shotgun. Then, jump through the window that’s to the right of the shotgun.

From here, you can use your weapon (preferably a rifle) to shoot at the church bell in the distance.

Getting the aim right can require a few tries, but if you use the scope, you can easily spot it. After shooting it correctly, all the villagers will stand idly, and a brief cutscene will appear. Now, you can progress ahead without having to fight anyone. This also skips the fight with Salvador, which can get quite tense.

Conclusion

That’s everything you need to know about how to skip the village in Resident Evil 4 Remake. Doing so will allow you to quickly progress through this section. This is extremely useful in speedruns since you do not have to waste a lot of time here.
