Brightbloom seeds are a new addition to Tears of the Kingdom, and they are quite useful considering how many dark areas the game features. If you are new to the game, worry not because we will show you how to use Brightbloom Seeds in Tears of the Kingdom.

These seeds can mostly be found in caves so make sure that you collect a lot of them. The best part is that they are more convenient than torches and provide a lot of light. With that said, let’s dive right in and get started.

How to Use Brightbloom Seeds

How to Use Brightbloom Seeds

As aforementioned, you can find tons of Brightbloom Seeds while exploring different caves and depths in Tears of the Kingdom. To use them, you need to first unlock the Fuse skill by completing the second Shrine. Then, equip your bow and press “D-pad Up” to bring up the Fuse menu.

Using the Brightbloom Seeds

After fusing your arrows with the Giant Brightbloom Seed, you need to simply fire it anywhere you want. Doing so will place a Brightbloom flower on the ground or walls. This will emit light and allow you to see in darker areas.

Since there are a lot of caves and dungeons in Tears of the Kingdom, using Brightbloom Seeds is a great way to light up the entire area. Alternatively, you can carry around a torch but the Brightbloom method allows you to carry other melee weapons without having a torch in your hand.

Something that a lot of players are not aware of is that you can attach Brightbloom Seeds to other objects as well. So, if you make a car or something else, you can shoot a Brightbloom arrow and place it on the car. This will allow you to permanently light up the area near your car so you don’t have to constantly shoot Brightbloom arrows all around the cave or depths.

Conclusion

And there you have it; that is how to use Brightbloom Seeds in Tears of the Kingdom. Using these seeds will allow you to place plants that emit light. This is a great way to light up darker areas like caves or dungeons in Tears of the Kingdom.
