Insomniac Games is one of the most well-known developers by PlayStation fans. The creators of the Spyro games on the PS1, Ratchet and Clank series, and the Resistance series of games, the studio has for the most part focused on single-player titles, but their next game could add in multiplayer after a very long time.
Insomniac Games next game could feature multiplayer again
Insomniac Games are known for their work in single-player games, they have been known to make some good multiplayer games. The last time they made one was with Resistance 2 on the PS3.
According to a new tweet put out by the company, they are looking for more people with experience in multiplayer:
Many fans have immediately begun speculating that this could be the reboot or potential return of the Resistance games, a series that hasn’t seen any release on the PS4 or PSVita.
While we can’t say for sure if this is indeed related to Resistance, it is going to be quite exciting to experience multiplayer in an Insomniac game once more.
Resistance 2 had a fun multiplayer, but the biggest complaint fans had was how arduous the trophies of the game were.
In their last few years, the studio has released Spider-Man (2018), Spider-Man: Miles Morales (2020), and Ratchet & Clank: A Rift Apart (2021) on the PS4 and PS5, and it seems the studio is not showing any signs of slowing down.
