Atomic Heart is a beautiful game set in a utopian world where Russia has discovered tons of scientific advancements. Since it is a semi-open-world game, players were wondering if they can play with their friends via cross-platform.

No, Atomic Heart is not cross-platform. Since the game is a singleplayer only experience, there is no need for the game to be cross-platform.

While some players were excited that the game might feature online elements, it is for the best that it doesn’t. Developer Mundfish ensured that the game is offline only and every player can play it at their own pace.

However, not all hope is lost. While there is no multiplayer, you can expect four DLC packs to be released in the upcoming years. They will expand upon the story and world of Atomic Heart. Keep in mind that none of the DLC packs will add multiplayer support.

The good news is that you do not need an active internet connection to play the game either. Other than the updates and the day 1 patch, you can play the game without ever connecting to your internet.
