There are two online multiplayer modes: Play With Friends and Play With Everyone, and both support full cross-play. You will need a 2K account to use these online features.
Additionally, LEGO 2K Drive supports local play with a two-player split-screen mode. Switch players can also link up for Local Play using two Nintendo Switch systems on the same wireless connection.
