Update 21st September: Like a Dragon Gaiden IS now coming to Game Pass at launch, and was confirmed during TGS 2023.

Like a Dragon Gaiden is not coming to Game Pass at launch, and there hasn’t been any announcement by SEGA or Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio to indicate that it is.

The game is up for pre-order across all platforms and is priced at $50, similar to other Yakuza spin-off titles.

Will Like a Dragon Gaiden Launch on Game Pass Later On?

There is a high chance that Like a Dragon Gaiden will eventually come to the service. The entire mainline Yakuza series has been available on Game Pass for a while now, and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s executive producer confirmed in an interview with Twinfinite that Game Pass has helped bring the series to the Western audience.

Though, while the mainline series is on Game Pass, including Yakuza 7, the spin-off titles like, Like a Dragon: Ishin are still missing. This is partly due to its recent release, but we expect Like a Dragon: Ishin to make its way to the service before Like a Dragon Gaiden. Considering this timeline, it’ll be a while before we see the upcoming title release on the service.

The game is coming to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, PS4, and PS5 on 8 November 2023.
