Valorant is one of the most popular FPS games in the world right now. It’s only available on Desktops and Laptops, but rumors of a mobile and console port have been looming over the horizon.
So we’re here today to discuss everything we know about possible console ports for Valorant and when Valorant will release on Xbox or PS5.
Is Valorant Coming to Xbox or PS5 Soon?
At this point, it’s hard to tell when Valorant will come to consoles. However, it has been previously confirmed that Riot is exploring potential console ports and have been experimenting with what experience they can bring to the platform.
Dataminers have also consistently found small references and strings of codes within different Valorant updates. There have also been a few Riot Games job listings back in 2022 and a more recent one that focuses on being a Playtest Analyst for consoles.
This means that there’s definitely something happening behind the scenes. There isn’t an exact release date yet nor an update from Riot Games themselves. However, the community is hoping that beta testing will be available sometime in 2023.
Is Valorant on Xbox?
The definitive answer is no. Valorant isn’t available on Xbox yet. However, Riot Games joined the Xbox Game Pass club in early December 2022. This gave Game Pass users unique rewards that they could use within the different Riot released games. This added to the speculation that an Xbox port for Valorant will finally come soon.
Leaks have also suggested that Valorant will be released for the Xbox One and the Xbox Series X.
Is Valorant on PS5?
Unfortunately, Valorant isn’t on PS5 or any PlayStation console yet. However, job listings stating both PlayStation and Xbox-related tasks have been posted a few times by Riot Games. The PlayStation Network has also been referenced within Valorant strings a while back.
According to famous leakers, Valorant will like be coming to both the PS4 and PS5 once it’s released to consoles.
