While reports are mixed and inconclusive at best currently, there is a possibility that the physical copies of The Legend of Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom may have already broken street date, 2 weeks before the release date of the game. One of the biggest titles of the year for Nintendo’s console may have spoilers well in advance should the game reach the wrong hands.

Legend of Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom Retail Copies Are Out

Initially, there were reports of the collector’s edition being shipped out to a customer early that stemmed from a 4chan post, but many people were skeptical of the claim stating that it could be a warehouse worker chasing clout.

However, someone on Mercari, a site similar to eBay has put up potentially two listings of the title, with the first one priced at $100, and a second one for $300. While it is easy to fabricate a fake case like that, Poryleaks, who has previously done a lot of leaks related to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s physical leak has also confirmed that the leak does indeed look genuine.

We are tagging this as a rumor as it seems the game case is no longer in a warehouse or any office setting and could be in the process of being sold to a private individual. From here, it’s only a matter of time before the cartridge reaches the wrong hands and the game can either have its spoilers posted across social media and YouTube, or the ROM file can be shared on pirate sites.

For now, we advise being cautious of going to places where you can expect to find spoilers for the title, as video games leaking this early is not unheard of.
