Like a Dragon Gaiden is out now on PC, and we had a blast playing with Kazuma Kiryu again who has a brand new agent fighting style. Like previous Dragon Engine releases, Like a Dragon Gaiden has Steam Cloud support, but if you have a bad connection, you might want to back up your progress locally. Here is how you can do that by accessing the Like a Dragon Gaiden save file location.

You can find the Like a Dragon Gaiden save files in the following location.
%APPDATA%\Sega\LikeADragonGaiden\Steam\[Steam User ID]\
If you want to back up the files, I recommend copying over the entire folder with your Steam ID, just in case. There might be multiple folders here, and the save file is in the .sav format.
Faster Navigation
To quickly navigate to this location, I recommend using Windows Run.
- Open Windows Run by either pressing the Windows + R keys together or by searching for it in Windows Search
- Enter the following address, and press OK
C:\Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Sega\LikeADragonGaiden\[Steam User ID]\
I still recommend that you enable cloud saves in Steam if you already haven’t. This will ensure you still have those to fall back on if you didn’t locally back up your progress.
