The Lollipop Chainsaw has been long anticipated by fans who have been unable to play the title on modern systems due to it being stuck on the Xbox 360 and PS3. However, the remake was announced some time ago, and while we have yet to see any gameplay for the title, we do have an official name for the game, and a new release date.

Lollipop Chainsaw Remake – A Slight Delay

The developers for the title took to Twitter today and shared two pieces of news related to the title. The first being the name of the new title which will be Lollipop Chainsaw: RePOP which is a clever name. The second that the game has now been delayed into Summer 2024.

Lollipop Chainsaw was a fantastic title developed by Grasshopper Manufacturer in 2012 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The title had a very mixed reception but the concept of the game makes it the modern day Deadly Premonition. Fans have been eagerly waiting for this title, and the latest news is nothing short of spectacular.

The adage of all good things come to those who wait should apply here, especially since we will see the game nearly 12 years after its original release.
