A brand new Mortal Kombat 1 trailer was just revealed at San Diego Comic-Con. We get a look at the Umgadi faction, which is supposed to be a guard to the royal family, and their absence lead to the death of Shao Kahn in this timeline. We get a look at two new faces and a familiar one from a previous game.

Mortal Kombat 1 Trailer Continues To Be Fatal

The latest trailer gives us a look at Li Mei, Tanya, and Baraka as the main fighters that are playable. We last saw Tanya in Mortal Kombat X, but Baraka was a playable fighter in Mortal Kombat 11 which is also a welcome change. Li Mei has not been seen since the days of Mortal Kombat Armageddon, but she did make a cameo appearance in Mortal Kombat 11.

In the trailer, we see that Mileena has not yet become her full Tarkatan form and is suppressing it, which means we might see a new side of Mileena that we have never seen before and this could be a welcome change to the story too, as she has always been introduced to us as one of Kitana’s biggest foes.

It has also been confirmed that Darrius and Goro are Kameo fighters.

The latest trailer also gives us a look at Tanya’s fatality which is bloody good. Let us know your thoughts on the trailer in the comments section below!

Mortal Kombat 1 is set for release on September 14th for the PS5, Xbox Series consoles, and PC.
