It seems that Activision sent out a couple of care packages to content creators, one of which has shared images of a pizza box that gives us two slices of good news, with one coming in the immediate future, and the other giving us something to look forward to. After quite a wait, we are finally getting news on a New Crash Bandicoot Game.
New Crash Bandicoot Game is incoming
With the real of Crash 4 in 2020, fans have been eagerly waiting for news on a new entry to the series, and while we have had hints in the past, particularly with Wumpa League, it seems that the title could be announced at TGA on the 8th of December, 2022.
Further in the YouTube video, they share a tease of something related to Wumpa coming on 12.08. i.e. December 8th.
In addition to the news, the pizza box also announced the arrival of Crash Bandicoot 4 on Steam to follow later this month on October 18th.
We have seen Activision go back to Steam after a lengthy hiatus, and a return to Steam is also a surprise, considering how this is the first time we are seeing the return of Activision games, with Modern Warfare 2 doing so earlier this year.
For now we have to wait for more details regarding the future Crash Bandicoot title that is set to be announced, but The Game Awards is definitely the best place for the announcement. It’s also rumored that Hideo Kojima could also reveal his new game at the event as well due to his long-standing friendship with Geoff Keighley.
It seems that this years TGA is set to be a memorable one, so make sure you don’t miss it on December 8th for a lot of surprises.
