Octopath Traveler 2‘s demo is out now on PC through Steam, and with that, we have more information about the PC port. The first title made its way to PC after a few months of release, but Octopath Traveler 2 is coming to PC on day one, which is fantastic. Like the first title, Octopath Traveler 2 isn’t a very demanding game. It’s nice to see more developers adding their targeted performance to these requirements, and it’s a trend I hope to see in every other specifications reveal.
If you wish to play the game at the highest settings preset at 1080p with a 60 FPS target, you need something like a GTX 1060 with 6 GB of VRAM paired with an i5-6400. Both of these are pretty old now, but the GTX 1060 is still a very popular GPU.
Apart from that, you need only a total of 10 GB of free space to install the game, and 8 GB of RAM is recommended. If you’re a bit low on VRAM, you can play the game at lower settings at 720p with something like a GTX 750.
