We previously reported on Rainbow Six Parasite a few days ago. The title was formerly known as Rainbow Six Quarantine, and Parasite is also not the final name according to Ubisoft. However, some new screenshots and gameplay have leaked about the game.
Rainbow Six Parasite screenshots and gameplay video leaked
It seems that Rainbow Six Parasite, as the game is currently known as, had a minor leak to it.
The game has confirmed a few of the operators from Rainbow Six, namely Vigil, Ela, and Tachanka with the others too blurry to make out, but one of them could be an SAS operator.

Having played the Outbreak game mode and earning all the charms during the event, I can confidently say that nothing in the gameplay or screenshots looks remotely familiar. Not to mention Vigil, and Ela weren’t even selectable operators during the limited-time game mode.
With this, we can affirm that the leak is indeed genuine and while this is chalked up to the game being Alpha or Beta footage, we know that Rainbow Six Parasite or whatever the final title might be, is set for an Early 2021 release date, along with Far Cry 6.
While Ubisoft has held a firm silence since the leak, we still don’t know any new details about the game. For now, all we can do is wait for Ubisoft to announce the new release dates for this title and the latest Far Cry.
Considering the immense success of Outbreak and how it has been made into its own dedicated game mode, there is definitely room for a cooperative survivor shooter from Ubisoft, considering this was the only event in Rainbow Six Siege that wasn’t competitive.
Sony has a State of Play scheduled for the 25th of January, but whether or not we will see Rainbow Six Parasite there is also a burning question.
For now, all we can do is wait for Ubisoft to share new details about the game. We have only had silence regarding Quarantine/Parasite from the last couple of years.
