Remnant: From the Ashes was a 2019 third-person Action RPG released for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and developed by GunFire games and published by Gearbox. It was a very overlooked title that had a very loyal fanbase who have eagerly been awaiting for a sequel to the title, and it seems that their wishes came true at The Game Awards with the announcement of Remnant II.
Remnant II is official
Remnant II is the return of the 2019 entry, and it’s sticking to a new name. However, it will still retain the familiar third-person ARPG formula that made the first one such a recognized title. We are once again fighting the forces of evil as the last remaining humans with a mix of cooperative and solo aspects.
The new world is full of plenty of surprises and encounters, with the player fighting for the fate of humanity. Explore a dynamically generated that is brimming with branching quest lines, powerful loot, and odds that will make you explore and replay the game, or with up to 3 players, you will be able to determine your own playstyle for the title.
With the help of the class system that lets players leverage guns, armor, and unique augmentations as they try to fight past challenging enemies for humanity’s survival.
Players will have to blend melee and ranged combat when fighting enemies as different types have varying weaknesses to them, so players are encouraged to always think on their feet and be ready for every enemy encounter. With each playthrough of the game, players will find themselves in a new world with new challenges, loot, enemies, and other surprises.
