Resident Evil 4 new trailer was shown at the recent State of Play, and while it was expected by fans, the new trailer shows off a lot of familiar and returning faces from the original entry such as Luis, Krauser, Saddler, and other aspects of the game that fans of the original were hoping would make the remake cut. In addition, a proper mercenaries mode also made the final cut.
Resident Evil 4 Looks Better With Each New Trailer
The latest Resident Evil 4 trailer is full of surprises as we get a surprise in the form of Luis being with Leon during the 2 El Gigante fight, and by this point in the game, Luis is long dead, which could mean that Capcom is looking to make some creative changes from the original title to keep it fresh and original which has been a pattern with the Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes.
In addition, there is also a Mercenaries mode announced for the title as post-launch content, which goes well with the already announced PSVR 2 support that is also planned as post-launch content as well.
A demo was also announced in the State of Play and is said to be launching in the near future, so keep your eyes peeled for that too.
It’s good to see that with each new trailer, we see more positive news on the title, and with a March 24th, 2023 release date, we know we are ready to see one of the best titles in the series get the best remake treatment yet.
