Update: We have updated the requirements with three new presets officially revealed by PlayStation

It’s no surprise that one of the most visually impressive PS5 games is a bit demanding on PC. Assuming these requirements target 1080p and 60 FPS, you’ll need something like an RTX 2070 with 8 GB of VRAM paired with a Ryzen 7 2700X to play the game at higher settings.

Apart from that, you need a total of 60 GB to install the game, and given how much Returnal leveraged the SSD, that is also a requirement for the PC version. One of the biggest new requirements we’ve seen, though is the mention of 32 GB of RAM in the recommended section, so that’s something you need to be aware of for future PC titles. Pretty soon, that’s going to become the new norm.

*Use of performance enhancing upscaling like NVIDIA DLSS is recommended when using both ray-traced reflections and ray-traced shadows.
