GTA Trilogy The Definitive Edition

Rockstar Games has just addressed the GTA Trilogy disaster. They are now aiming to make the game on all platforms reach a state that the players can be content with, but they’re also making up for the mistake by giving the PC players an extra reward.

Rockstar Games accepts GTA Trilogy missteps

Rockstar Games has acknowledged that the GTA Trilogy launched from a far from perfect state, and they are now taking steps to address the issues faced by players.

In a blog post, they acknowledge the mistakes with the port and are now committing to fixing the game until its in a better state and is accepted by players.

In addition, Rockstar is restoring the original ports to the Rockstar Games Launcher on PC and players who supported the GTA Trilogy will get those versions for free. You can qualify for the purchase too if you buy the GTA Trilogy before the 30th of June 2022.

It is highly admirable of Rockstar to admit where they are wrong, and we hope that they do make the game into a state that can truly make the fans happy.

The GTA Trilogy was littered with bugs, glitches and many other problems that made it a far from perfect product. The issue persisted on all platforms, and the performance issues across the board were just appalling.

The GTA Trilogy sought to remaster three of the most recognized entries in the series using the Unreal Engine 4 but what followed was one catastrophe after the other, and now Rockstar is looking to fix the game, one update at a time.

Unfortunately, you will only be able to redeem the free original ports on the Rockstar Games launcher. So far it doesn’t look like PlayStation or Xbox users will get the ports either which is kind of disappointing.
