Battlefield 2042

Battlefield 2042 is one of the biggest releases coming out this year, and the next entry in the long-running first-person shooter series from EA, and DICE. There have been multiple leaks over the past few weeks, especially with the closed beta. Now, it seems that the Battlefield 2042 Beta might be starting sooner than expected.

Call of Duty Vanguard’s and Halo Infinite’s release dates have been confirmed as well, and it will be interesting to see which shooter comes out on top. Fans are excited about all three games, and it’s been a while since we’ve seen back-to-back shooter releases like this.

One of the most popular German streamers for Battlefield is PietSmiet, who has been officially involved with the promotional content of Battlefield titles. They have posted their weekly streaming schedule, and it includes the upcoming shooter for 4th September. Now, a closed beta would’ve meant that they couldn’t have shared this information for streaming purposes, but that doesn’t seem to be the case here.

Check out their schedule below.

Another German site, gamestar also claims that the beta will begin from the same date.

These are enough hints to suggest that we might be getting an official announcement for the beta very soon. The game itself is coming out in October, so September sounds like an ideal month to give fans a taste of what to expect.

It is still recommended to take this with a grain of salt though. Neither EA nor DICE has confirmed the beta release yet. Though, a Streamer with such a huge presence wouldn’t have posted something like that if they weren’t sure about it. Battlefield 2042 does not have a single-player campaign this time around. Their focus seems to be entirely on multiplayer, and its various modes.
