According to an industry insider, Jeff Grubb, it appears that we could be getting a Nintendo Direct in the week of January 6th, which according to the calendar goes from Monday, 6th February to Sunday, 12th February. This could mean an announcement should be coming anytime this week, or the next week, but either way a lot of fans are excited.
Nintendo Direct could happen any time next week
The highly anticipated February Nintendo Direct is something fans look forward to every year. This one could also be the one where we get a first look at Advance Wars 1 + 2 and perhaps a first look at some proper gameplay of Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Both titles are fan-favorite titles coming to the system, with one still missing a release date.
The news comes from Jeff Grubb on his podcast, who says to expect the event to take place in the week of February 6th. (15:30 onwards in the video)
While a fixed date is yet to be announced, we can hope that Nintendo does announce a date soon, as they do normally give a few days heads-up, or a maximum of a week before the Direct happens, as their timing is a bit sporadic in the past.
