It seems Sackboy: A Big Adventure which was a PS5 launch title could be making its way to Steam. This has to be a new record and possibly the fastest PlayStation game that is making its way to PC, but let’s wait and see what the future holds.
Sackboy: A Big Adventure – getting on PC
Sackboy: A Big Adventure, is not the Little Big Planet sequel that fans were hoping for, but rather a platforming adventure featuring everyone’s favorite Sackboy. The game offered players a fun way to experience the new DualShock controllers in a fun way.
The last major AAA PlayStation title that got announced for PC was 2018’s God of War set for an early 2022 release, so it would be too soon for Sony to announce another title joining the ranks, which is not their usual model.
The listing was spotted on SteamDB with the curious entry of sumoqa.
Sumo Digital has also developed Hood: Outlaws, but that game is already on PC and can be dismissed from the list. Perhaps Sumo could be porting another game to the PC, but the one that people are immediately assuming is Sackboy as it’s the one that makes the most sense.
We doubt we will see the announcement at the upcoming PlayStation State of Play scheduled for the 28th of this month, but there’s always hope, right?
For now, we recommend waiting on an official announcement from Sumo or Sony for when it happens, but its more likely that Sony will be the one making announcements.
It seems Sony is serious about investing more IP’s into PC, and while Sackboy is far from what fans were hoping for, it is still a great game that fans of platformers will thoroughly enjoy, and one you should definitely play if you want to experience the cuteness of Sackboy.
