It seems that the September 2022 PlayStation Plus Essential Games have been leaked once again on time by the one and only leaker known for this, Billbil-kun. The games lineup is just okay, but there is something here for everyone.

September 2022 PlayStation Plus Essential Games

You can have a look at the September 2022 PlayStation Plus Essential Games right now, as Billbil-kun has now leaked the catalog for the free games for the month. While they are a little late, they are still ahead of the official Sony account from tweeting this news, so it does mean we won’t have to wait long for an official announcement.

On their Dealabs profile, Billbil-kun has listed the following PS+ Games:

The games on offer are:

  • Need for Speed: Heat
  • Toem: A Photo Adventure
  • Granblue Fantasy: Versus

Toem and Heat are easily some fun games for players to just pick up and have fun with, but Granblue fantasy is also a fighting game worth trying if you are tired of the current Street Fighter/Mortal Kombat formula, and since it’s going to be a free game, no harm in trying it out.

This is an okay month when compared to August 2022, which was a far superior month for the catalog and offered a lot of better titles for the program.

It’s good to see that Sony is still giving Essential users a good library of games, but it is only a matter of time before we see how long that well runs before it goes down the track of Xbox Games With Gold, but it seems that the catalog continues to maintain a certain level of quality.
