Sherlock Holmes Chapter One is an upcoming story-driven adventure game from Frogwares. The developers have previously released multiple Sherlock Holmes games, and this latest one is a prequel, depicting the early years of the iconic detective’s life. The game is coming out next month on multiple platforms including PC, via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store. Now, the Sherlock Holmes Chapter One System Requirements have been revealed as well.
This new entry also features a more open-world setting, with improved visuals as well. It’s shaping up to be the developer’s most advanced game yet, and we’re looking forward to what it brings to the genre.

Compared to the last game, Sherlock Holmes Chapter One has considerably higher requirements. This doesn’t mean that the game itself is very demanding though, and most mid-budget PCs should do okay.
To play the game at higher settings, you’ll need something like a Ryzen 5 3600 paired with a GTX 1070. The game requires 8 GB of RAM, but we recommend users to upgrade to 16 GB anyway, as modern titles tend to use that much, especially with background applications running.
The title isn’t that huge when it comes to disk requirement, but you’ll still need around 28 GB of free space to install it. Another thing to note is that Windows 10 is the only OS mentioned, so we’ll only know for sure if it can run on Windows 7, or 8 when it comes out next month.
