A few months ago, we witnessed the complete rebirth of Silent Hill with a plethora of new titles being announced. Some were completely upfront and detailed like the Silent Hill 2 Remake, and others were more mysterious and left us wanting to know more about them. It seems we might get an answer to one of the titles sooner rather than later as Silent Hill: The Short Message for PS5 has been rated in Taiwan.
Silent Hill: The Short Message for PS5 – an exclusive title?
Silent Hill: The Short Message was not in the list of the titles announced and was instead part of a plethora of leaks. Previously the title was rated in Korea, but a newer rating in Taiwan could hint that the demo might be a PS5 exclusive as the rating only exists for the PS5 version, and not for any other console version.

While Silent Hill: The Short Message is still a game that is covered in mystery about everything that envelopes it, some people speculate that the title could be a demo to one of the other announced Silent Hill titles, due to the presence of the word ‘short’ in the title. Similar to Playable Teaser (P.T). However, as we enter into 2023, perhaps Konami will be more sparing with information and we might get to see more of the mysterious titles announced, along with an official announcement about Silent Hill: The Short Message.
While Silent Hill is finally coming back to the public eye after a decade of absence, fans are now hopeful for the revival of Metal Gear Solid as well with the recent comment of a famous producer for the series hinting at something big and the potential return of a ‘long-awaited‘ title to take place in 2023.
