Skull and Bones meets high tides again

According to a new report put out by the company, it seems that a lot of announcements have been put in one place. The most significant being that Skull and Bones, which was supposed to release in March 2023 is now put on early 2023-24. However, there will still be a Beta for the game.

If you want a timeline for the new release date of the title, Daniel Ahmad has put it aptly.

While Ubisoft has yet to share a new release date for the title, its safe to say that the title will no longer be released in Q1 of the year as we were originally expecting it to, and the game has a troubled history of being delayed year after year since its announcement at E3 2017.

Skull and Bones was supposed to be an independent pirate adventure title, which was a major feature in Assassins Creed titles such as Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag, and Rogue. Players had the ability to do naval combat, board the enemy ships and plunder them for loot and more. The title would be its own independent IP and allow players to take to the seas and be their own captain, but it seems that the galleon still needs some time to be built.

For now, all we can do is wait for a new release date from Ubisoft, until then, let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
