Sol Cresta is an upcoming shoot ’em up developed and published by PlatinumGames. The title was originally delayed, but now we have a release date and more details. PlatinumGames are known for their excellent action titles over the years, and now they have expanded into this genre, and we can’t wait to finally get our hands on it. While the game is inspired by older titles in the genre, it aims to appeal to new fans as well with modern mechanics, and visuals. With the Steam page finally up, here are the Sol Cresta System Requirements.
Sol Cresta takes features a free-form docking system allowing players to utilize dock and split to change their attack properties and use different formations. Even though this started off as an April fool’s joke, there was enough interest from fans to warrant development.

The title isn’t that demanding and seems to be targeting mid-budget systems. The hardware mentioned here is fairly old, and most PC gamers shouldn’t have much trouble running it at higher resolutions and framerate.
The recommended CPU is still a bit beefy, but again, it’s a sixth-generation i7, which again has been far surpassed by many modern CPUs, especially from AMD. A total of 8 GB RAM is required, but we recommend PC gamers upgrade to 16 GB as other titles still need that to function smoothly.
While you are here, make sure to check out the requirements for some other upcoming titles like Shadow Warrior 3, Lies of P, and Thymesia.
