It seems that Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2 is going to take up 98GB, this was spotted by Twitter user SpiderManCD who shared images of the limited edition console box. If you zoom in on the image enough, you can see the size requirement is stated at 98GB, and the game is also a single player experience.
Spider-Man 2 is set to release on October 20th for the PS5 exclusively. It is said to be the biggest PS5 exclusive of the year, which is easily an understatement. From all of the gameplay videos we have seen so far, the game is set blow away fans of the original entry and 2020’s Miles Morales.
While 98GB is a modest size, it’s worth mentioning that Spider-Man: Remastered was 54GB in size. Let’s see if the upgrade in size shows results when the game does release.
