If you are looking to play Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on your Xbox Series X, you’ll need a lot of storage. Recently delayed to April 28, the sequel is unarguably one of the most anticipated titles of the year. However, that comes with a huge price which you’ll pay in the form of storage. On the brighter side, for Xbox Series S users, things are going to be quite different.
The Force is a Bit Too Strong with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Game Size on Series X
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be a massive 139.08GB in size for Xbox Series X players. Xbox Era in their recent report stated that the pre-load is now available for some users, hence the file size discovery. While you’ll need a heap load of storage on the Series X, the story is quite the contrary for the Series S. Xbox Series S will only require 44GB of storage to download the title.
The huge file difference owes to the more impressive graphical fidelity of the Series X. The higher-end Xbox is capable of playing titles on native 4K and the texture pack on this very resolution takes up a lot of space. In comparison, Series S can run at a native 1440p resolution hence requiring fewer textures to download. As for the PS5 version, it too can run 4K native, so the size could be along the lines of Series X.
Nonetheless, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor‘s size on the Series X is too gigantic and you’ll need to clean out a fair amount of storage. At least, now we have a heads up so we can manage the storage when Jedi: Survivor launches on April 28, 2023.
