Starship Troopers: Extermination is an upcoming co-op FPS from Offworld Industries. The developers are known for their highly popular multiplayer shooter, called Squad. It’s nice to see games explore the Starship Troopers IP again, and we saw Terran Command this year as well, which was a fairly good RTS title. In Extermination, though, up to 12 players will be dropped to fight against the Bug menace together. The game was announced just now, but the Steam page is up, and here are the Starship Troopers Extermination System Requirements.

To play the game on PC, you need the following specifications.

- Processor: Intel Core i5-3570 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X
- Memory: 12 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GTX 780 3GB or AMD R9 280 3GB
- DirectX: Version 10
- Storage: 20 GB available space

- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- Processor: Intel Core i7-4770 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1070 8 GB or AMD Equivalent
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 20 GB available space
This isn’t a very demanding title, and even if you’re looking to play at higher settings, you only need something like a GTX 1070 paired with a Ryzen 5 1600X. If you’re okay with turning down a few settings, even an R9 280 with just 3 GB of VRAM should be good enough.
You also need 20 GB to install the game, and 16 GB of RAM is recommended. The game is launching in an early access state, so it’s possible that these requirements might change over time as well.

You can now add the game to your wishlist on Steam at the following link. It is expected to come out in 2023 and will launch as an early access title for “approximately 1 year”.
